Why I Am Passionate About Small Business

I come from a family of farmers and business owners. My grandparents and uncles were farmers, both my parents owned and operated small businesses, and my brother became a business owner in the last couple of years.  I have witnessed first-hand the drive it takes to step out on their own, the passion they have for their customers, and the value of having a strong support network, which includes a good banking partner. Their efforts and resilience inspire me to be that partner they can trust and rely upon to provide the tools and services that will help them manage their business and achieve success.

My Experience

I’ve been in banking for nearly 30 years. I started by working with individuals to resolve their past due accounts, later doing the same work, but with business owners.  It was through that work I realized the importance and value of a good banking partner, even in difficult times.  While it was rewarding to help resolve those matters, I knew I wanted to give more and was fortunate enough to have an opportunity to do just that 15 years ago.

My wife and I share a birthday, which also happens to be our anniversary.
