Laura Troshynski
As a Senior Director of Business Owner Advisory Services at FNBO, Laura brings her experience working with business owners, and as a former member of a family business, to the Business Owner Advisory Services team. With an extensive background in business and estate planning, Laura is well qualified to help others plan for business transitions. Laura is passionate about helping business owners achieve their goals, and she understands the importance of preserving personal and business legacies.
Credentials
Laura spent the first ten years of her career in private practice as an attorney with her father and brother. During that time, Laura specialized in business law, estate planning, and banking law. She brought her considerable skills and talents to FNBO in 2019 as a Director of Trust Services. She moved to her current role in February of 2021. Laura holds a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Nebraska as well as a Juris Doctorate degree from University of Nebraska College of Law.
Passions
Laura fully embraces family life in her spare time. Visits to the lake or taking advantage of the extensive walking trails in her community with her husband and daughter top her list of favorite things to do.
She is a strong proponent of community service has also dedicated many free hours to the Great Plains Healthcare Foundation, acting as the Annual Giving Chair, the Foundation Gala Chair, and the current Foundation Board Chair. She currently serves as a buyer and Vice President for the Goodfellow Shoe Fund, and is the Development Chair and Vice Chair for the Nebraska Foundation for the Humanities.
