Vice President, Commercial Payments and Channel Sales
Omaha, NE

Shane Beardslee

Shane leads FNBO’s Commercial Payments and Channel Sales efforts. He engages directly with large corporations, fintechs, payment providers and independent software vendors every day designing over-arching commercial payment execution strategies that include ACH, check, wire, lockbox, commercial card solutions, virtual cards, integrated accounts payable solutions, merchant processing services, global services and foreign exchange solutions that make them more productive, more secure, more successful and more profitable.

Credentials

Shane began his career with FNBO in August 2009 as a Regional Manager for First National Merchant Solutions and has since led teams on both the Merchant Acquiring and Issuing side of the payments business. This experience has allowed him to develop an extremely unique background, making him more effective at consulting and sharing his payments knowledge with the bank’s large commercial customers. Prior to working for FNBO, Shane held sales and mentoring positions at major companies, such as TSYS, Cox Communications, Sprint, Journal Broadcasting and Pappas Telecasting, conducting business in every state throughout North America, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. He is a member of NAPCP and AFP.

Passions

Shane describes himself as a die-hard foodie, so he enjoys cooking for friends and family and visiting the local independent restaurant scene. He also enjoys the outdoors, exploring new locales in any manner that involves “human-powered movement,” including but not limited to biking, running, hiking, kayaking, paddle-boarding, skiing, surfing and swimming. He travels often with his wife and daughters as well as a travel-minded group of friends. Free time for Shane would not be truly fulfilling without community service, so he has served on the board of Project Night Lights and assists organizations such as Habitat for Humanity and Memories for Kids.
