Every day brings new opportunities to support our communities.
At FNBO, we understand the responsibility we have to positively impact the economic and social make up of our communities. Yet, we know we are just one of the many who are making this important progress happen. Partnerships with strong community organizations are key to lasting and sustainable change. We’re privileged to work alongside organizations across our eight-state footprint to significantly impact community development and well-being for all.
Building relationships is at the heart of our business at FNBO. Being privately owned and led by the same family for six generations has provided us with the freedom to be creative in how we engage our communities, while giving us steadfast values to steer our decisions. Working together enables us to guide more individuals, families and businesses to financial well-being — especially those who have historically faced barriers to success.
Last year, our employees demonstrated remarkable commitment to serving communities across our footprint. They enthusiastically pursued ways to make a positive impact through services, volunteerism and leadership. We’re excited to share some of their experiences beginning on page 12. For some, that means bringing their banking expertise to young children to gain financial education, while others are taking the lead to organize fundraisers for local foundations. These actions empower our employees to engage in ways that are meaningful to them and their communities.
As we complete year two of our five-year Commitment to Community Impact Plan, we’re optimistic about the progress made in 2023. We will continue to innovate, invest and do all we can to eliminate barriers for the underserved, helping more people and entire communities achieve greater financial well-being along the way.
Much of this progress is due in large part to the partnerships our team has nurtured over the last several years. We are deeply proud of the work that’s been done in 2023, and we look forward to continuing to provide enduring impact in each of our communities in 2024 and beyond.
Sincerely,
Clark Lauritzen
