John serves as Managing Director, Community Banking. In this role, he leads the team that supports the success of corporate clients with customer-centered leadership. He takes pride in helping businesses meet their financial goals and in providing services that enrich the lives of business owners.

Credentials

John has three decades of banking experience, most of it in the commercial sector. He joined FNBO in 2000 after several successful roles with other banking institutions. John has a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Computer Science from Northern Illinois University and is a member of the McHenry County Economic Development Corporation.

Passions

John enjoys strong family connections with his wife, grown children and spends plenty of quality time with them and his grandchildren. He is an avid Chicago sports fan and cheers for the Cubs, Bulls and Bears. Hiking and fishing fill up his remaining leisure time.

When it comes to community service, John has a full slate, dedicating his time and talents to Family Health Partnership, an organization that provides health care for those who can’t afford medical treatment and don’t have insurance.
