Rockie Hughes
Rockie is a Director of Community Banking at FNBO. He manages relationships with new and existing clients, responding to customer needs with lending and other business solutions. Rockie’s years of experience in banking provides him with extensive skills that he puts to use for his clients. He is always pleased to help businesses analyze financial information and to help identify and resolve challenges.
Credentials
After more than 34 years in the industry, Rockie remains deeply involved banking. Throughout his career, he has managed commercial and agricultural credits, used industry tools designed to help entrepreneurs get a strong start in business, developed new loan policies, and created scoring and client grading models. His work with restructuring struggling credits is also notable. Rockie earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Management, with a minor in Accounting and Industrial Arts from Chadron State College and remains active with community chambers of commerce in the regions he serves.
Passions
Rockie enjoys spreading his free time across several pastimes. Rockie enjoys working cattle and does not mind the hard work, especially when he is in the saddle on one of his favorite horses. Rockie likes to use his BBQ skills to grill and smoke food for groups of people. Spending time out on the water in his boat is also a favorite past time.
