Brooke Smithberg

Brooke Smithberg is a Director with the Wealth Management group’s Personal Trust team at First National Bank and handles the administration of trusts, estates, conservatorships, agencies and investment management accounts. Brooke's clients include high net worth individuals requiring investment and trust services.

Credentials

Brooke began her career with First National Bank as a member of the Executive Development Program, which included comprehensive training in commercial lending, investment banking, retail banking, credit card, wealth management, finance and treasury services. She has also served as Director in Corporate Compliance and as the Human Resources Business Partner providing FNNI and HR legal subject matter expertise to divisional leadership to align HR initiatives with key business drivers.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Creighton University and went on to earn her Juris Doctor in business, taxation and commercial transactions concentration from Creighton University School of Law.

Brooke has her Nebraska State Bar License, Emergenetics associate license, and holds Six Sigma Yellow and Green Belt certifications. She is a member of the Nebraska State Bar Association, Omaha Bar Association, American Bar Association, and Nebraska Women’s Bar Association.

Passions

Brooke is constantly moving, whether chasing her three kids around or traveling to Colorado to ski in the mountains. She loves providing experiences for her children and can often be found in the kitchen whipping up a batch of cupcakes or cookies with her daughters. Brooke enjoys giving back to the community and currently serves on Marian High School's Board of Advancement and March of Dime's Guild Board.
