Josh is a Director in Private Client Services at First National Bank Wealth Management. His primary responsibility is helping clients work toward their long-term financial goals. He is an advocate of family values and unity, and promotes the responsible accumulation of financial wealth. He supports business owners and their efforts to invest for the future, build up their employees' retirement security, and provide a lasting family legacy. Josh is passionate about families working together for a common goal. While financial assets are often accumulated in the process, he particularly enjoys watching families pass down their unique values, stories, and a sense of belonging.
Josh joined First National Bank in 2007 and prior to his role in Wealth Management, he led the Illinois Corporate Treasury Services team.
Josh earned his Certified Wealth Strategist® designation from Cannon Financial Institute and his Bachelor’s degree from Northern Illinois University.
Josh loves spending time with his family outdoors and a few of his favorites are trips to Chicago for the holidays, hunting and fishing, and back yard grilling. No matter where he’s at, he seems to find great country music.
He always finds time to give back to his community and has served in many capacities including Christ Community Church, DeKalb Chamber Leadership Academy, and in many Money Smart Week events. Josh is a Board Member for the Illinois Bankers Association's Future Leaders group, and at a national level with the American Bankers Association Emerging Leaders Board.
I am passionate about supporting my clients’ pursuits and take great pride in being a leader in my industry and community.
