Melissa believes that successful businesses create the foundation for a strong community. As an officer of Commercial and Agricultural Banking, she has the opportunity to create healthier communities every day by assisting business owners with the right credit arrangements to meet their needs and grow their business.
Melissa began her journey with First National Bank in 2015 as a credit analyst I. Over the years, she has worked her way to Credit Analyst II and finally to her current position as an officer or “advisor” of Commercial Banking. Melissa has a bachelor’s degrees in Business Administration, Psychology and Human Resources Management from Hastings College. She is also a member of the Young Bankers of Nebraska Educational Planning Committee.
Melissa is a traveler at heart and enjoys her journeys in the company of her husband. Her excursions often include visits with family members or watching major league sporting events. She has a goal to attend at least one game at every major league baseball stadium in the U.S.
Melissa is very supportive of her community in and out of the office. She is a member of many organizations such as Grand Island Young Professionals and Leadership Tomorrow. She also dedicates time to as a Board Member of the Grand Island YMCA and volunteers for Junior Achievement.
I believe in strong community, with foundations laid by our customers through the support they received from us, their relationship manager. Aiding in the success of our customers and their livelihood is what matters most to me.
