Monty is a Senior Advisor of Community Banking at FNBO. He considers it a privilege to work with area businesses and remains amazed at the stories of challenge and prosperity each client brings to the table when discussing their financial needs. With over two decades of experience in the banking industry, Monty is well positioned to provide guidance to commercial organizations and values the many long-term relationships he’s created throughout the years.

Credentials

When it comes to commercial banking, Monty has done it all. His career includes management roles in critical operations such as credit card processing and customer service, as well as overseeing retail branches. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Dickinson State College in North Dakota and attended Volkshochschule in Heidelberg, Germany. Monty also completed the Graduate School of Banking in Colorado.

Passions

In his own words, Monty likes to be outside, and it doesn’t take much to lure him outdoors. While his favorited pastimes include hiking, camping, bicycling and motorbiking, he doesn’t even mind doing yard work since it takes him out of the house. He runs most days and is pretty certain he’s logged enough miles to have run at least once around the planet.

Monty continues his support of the commercial landscape in his personal endeavors by supporting the Longmont Area Chamber of Commerce and the Longmont Economic Development Partnership.
